I was looking for fun things to make with Plarn and ran into your site not long ago. Thanks for such a great idea. I love the one wash cloth I made so far. And to comment on the one I wash mine in the the washer machine on cold water (I use the Tide soap for cold to save energy and such and a little bit of color safe bleach). Hang dry and the plastic did fine in the wash.

Well I would if I had a dishwasher. Lol. Oh well… I think I’ll give it a miss after all. Shame. I’ll have to have a look around and see what else I can crochet out of plastic bags. It’s certainly not something I’d thought of before coming here. Thanks

@ Sharon- 30C (85F) might be okay but I wouldn’t go any hotter as the plastic gets soft when it gets too hot or melts. Another person just told me that she puts her’s on the top shelf in her dishwasher and it worked great. So you might try that to wash them and then hang them to dry. Thanks for stopping by.

Great idea for a quick and simple project! I love the idea of having a scrubber bit in the middle

I’m just wondering, would the plastic bit withstand being washed in a machine? I generally use either 30 or 40 degree washes so I would imagine so but thought I’d check with you first.
