As a nine year survivor of stage II breast cancer my thoughts are with you on this journey through your treatments. I know this is one of the hardest times of your life. But I am living proof that these treatments work.
How proud you should be for keeping up with your crafts ( love your patterns !!! ) and your attitude is great.
Life does change but I truly believe, in the end, for the better.
My thoughts are with you and with all our sisters fighting the good fight.

Your new friend and admirer,

I will pray for you. My old manager and father in-law are both fighting cancer at the moment. I know you are going through a difficult time.

On another note, I love your recycled bags. They are so great!

Much love,
Heather

Sharing about your coworkers made me smile. I'm sure I would be like you and unable to take the itchiness and added heat of a wig! Always thinking of you, dear one! (((((HUGS))))) sandi

I recently found out that my aunt has cancer. She is currently living across the country in Tennessee. Her husband passed on, so she is there alone. She is trying to sell the home and move back here (Oregon). I'd love to have her back here with us.

Thanks for sharing with us!

ps Thanks for visiting my site. I wouldn't have known to come here otherwise.

While working on my own home small business. I have gotten a part time job working on sewing, cutting fabric, and shipping for another small business in the area.

It is called Hip Hats with Hair http://www.hatswithhair.com/ and we make many types of items for persons that have lost their hair for one reason or another. I have been making a lot of 'Underhair' which is a super soft skull cap with hair on the outside. You are able to wear most any type of cap or scarf with it.

I do get paid to work there, but not to promote it. I just feel fulfilled each day when I ship hair to someone that needs it! And thought you might want to check it out!

Either way, good luck on your Journey!

I am praying that your next chemo will go well tomorrow. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. I am crocheting tote bags and Hobo bags like mad out of all the plastic (and used plastic tablecloths to add extra color) and having a great time! My co-worker and I have made 57 bags since February!!! We got our start from figuring out a bag I already had-crocheted for me by an dear lady in Colorado ten years ago! we call them "Coley" bags in honor of her (her first name). I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing all your pattern ideas. You must crochet 24 hours a day!!

Much love and prayers always - Trish

I just couldn't do a wig. I'm not sure why. I stuck to bandanas and when I was fianlly doen wearing them, I didn't know what to do with all of them. I didn't want to get rid of them for some reason, so I made a quilt. It's somewhere in my blog. I have never made a quilt before and am sure that there was a higher power directing me on how to do it. It was completed in one week.

We all have to do what we are comfortable doing. For the record, I used to wear bandanas when I was younger....I haven't worn one since my hair grew back.

Hi, I absolutely love your website and your ideas how to use things that otherwise would be thrown in a land fill. Your purse ideas are so cute.
Thank you for visiting my website and thank you for the friendship add on blogspot. I've added you too. I wish you well on the remainder of your treatments.
