Love your recycled projects. I love turning garbage into something useful and cool. Did you ever notice how thats sort of what Jesus does too? Serve God, save the planet....Good luck with your cancer. I hope Jesus turns that garbage into something you or He can use....May you be blessed with peace and wisdom.

I found out about your post from another blog - talking about using recycled bags for craft ideas. When she mentioned that you were posting about your breast cancer and treatments, I had to visit and read all about it.
I am one of many women who was diagnosed with breast cancer - I've been cancer free for almost 2 years. Keep up your spirits and when you are done with the treatments, treat yourself to something special! God's Blessings to you.

Hi,

My name is Cindy - I am a bc survivor, being diagnosed May 1 2003. I sat back and let the Lord direct my path and what a beautiful journey it was. When I was diagnosed, I cried and then I told the Lord "in your word you tell me that because of your sons stripes, I am healed for He bore it all for me before, during and while on the cross. May this journey be one that will bring to you all glory, honor and praise, for I know this is going to be a wonderful journey".

I received my chemo in Bermuda ... I have a full head of hair, thick long and healthy, sometimes don't know what to do with it - ole pony tail is always the easiest - lost the hair the weight stayed (smile) .

I received my radiation treatments in Burlington MA at the Lahey Clinic. I thank the Lord for everyone I met, they became my extended family. I cried like a baby on the day of my last treatment.

My Sistah, I encourage you to walk in your healing and share your testimony - life is awesome through it all, the devil meant this to happen for bad - look what the Lord has done.

Hi,

My name is Cindy - I am a bc survivor, being diagnosed May 1 2003, lost my hair and wore beautiful scarves. I return to Lahey twice a year for my check-ups.

When I was diagnosed, I cried and then I told the Lord "in your word you tell me that because of your sons stripes, I am healed for He bore it all for me before, during and while on the cross. May this journey be one that will bring to you all glory, honor and praise, for I know this is going to be a wonderful journey".

I received my chemo in Bermuda and a wonderful friend of mine in Jamaica NY advised me to drink Coke or Pepsi or Coffee while receiving the chemo and another dear friend encouraged me to eat potato before the treatments - both worked marvellously... I finished my treatments in November 2002. December 20th, I left for Lahey in MA for my radiation treatments - I thank the Lord for the encouragement of my Dr. and the radiation technicians - they became my extended family. I cried like a baby on the day of my last treatment and now I get so exxcited going back to see them.

My Sistah, I encourage you to trust in the Lord with all of your heart, soul and mind - never lean unto yourown understanding. Remember as I said earlier that the Lord bore all for us and his only requirement is that we Trust Him, hold on to His hand for He has also promised to never leave you nor forsake you. Hold on for the time of bad feelings, sore arms and bruises are soon to be over and should you have a next stage, that too will pass. Continue to walk in your healing and each time share your testimony - life is awesome after while.

I'm someone else who has only recently discovered your blog after you very kindly commented on mine. I'll definitely be returning here and following your progress. All the best for your final treatment. I am doing voluntary event management and fundraising for Cancer Research UK at the moment, which is why I'm making the plarn bags. I'm eager to try out something like your VCR bag as I'd not even thought of using VCR tape as an option, and yet it's so obvious when it's pointed out! I'll keep you posted as to how much we raise. Once again, my thoughts and prayers will be with you as you make it through your final treatment.
