You obtain the pattern from Colleen aka Aggie May over at Crochetville. You just need to ask her to email the pattern to you and agree not to distribute yourself etc.

I love this project! this is beautiful!
Is there anyway to get the pattern because my own mother would love this! she and i have both crochet round and 6 and 8 sided ones but I’ve never seen a ripple like this.

Lynne… I think there are patterns for round afghans. I think if you google Pi knitting afghan you will find it.
