This is a great tutorial – I (very) recently took up crochet and knitting and I think this is such a fun way of dealing with the plastic bag problem! I think I need a bit of hand holding to create a whole new thing from a pattern so I’m going to take this to a new crochet and knitting group I’ve discovered – I’m sure the others are going to love this whole idea too.

What an excellent idea! I hadn’t thought of double-stranding plarn with yarn, and using plarn to make a plastic bag holder seems quite fitting to me. I might just have to make one of these; thanks for the pattern!
