i made mini easter gift baskets this year for several spring craft fair sales i did. i used pastel colored newspaper sleeves as plarn and used the bottom of plastic coffee creamer containers for a base very similar to this and thought to myself that i could make some decent sized baskets without the handle for storing things and came across this! very nice..i like it :)

I have been making plarn bags for a while now and my family and friends love them! I love this idea! It reminds me of when my Grandma would crochet around the bottom of an empty bleach bottle to make a 'bag' to carry her hair curlers. Thank you for sharing!

I've made several tote bags from plarn. I love the idea of adding a bottom made from a frozen food tray. Thanks for sharing.

You are my newest wonderfullest hero. VCR tape as yarn! OMG! That is bloody brilliant and I am going to make a great big mess in my house experimenting with it. I also love your plarn from store bags made into all kinds of neat stuff. I'm favoriting your site and I will check out every single thing. You Rock!
