Crocheted Plastic Bag Soles Part 2
This is part 2 of my crocheted plastic bag sandal soles. I finally got the two sole pieces crocheted together and here is the progress photo.
Here is a closeup of the toe end and then one of the heel.
One final thing to share.
Here is a sneak peak of the top of the sandals. I crocheted this pink part using recycled newspaper plastic bags for the top of the toe area for the sandals. These recycled plastic bags sandals are going to be cool when I finally get them completed. It has been quite a process getting the fit and look I wanted.
Final sandals and the complete free crochet pattern for the plarn sandals coming soon. I am so excited that this project is nearly done.

I would love to have the pattern and see how you prepare the plastic bags to be able to crochet with it.
Thanks

Will my feet get sweaty wearing these? They look pretty though.

Ken – Your feet shouldn’t get sweaty as the sandals have holes and can breathe. Several other people have told me that these type of sandals are comfortable and they can wear them all day without problems. Let me know how they work out if you make a pair.

These seem like they’d make great shower shoes for a college dorm or something, because of the fact that they have holes and can breathe/drain. Awesome project!!
