United Wavy Ripple Lapghan

Posted on March 4, 2017

I ordered 3 skeins of this cool red and blue marble United Caron yarn on-line through a close-out sale. I thought it would be perfect to crochet a lapghan for the Warmth for Warriors blanket drive.

I crocheted this lapghan using the wavy ripple lapghan pattern and chained 107 stitches to start to make a blanket that was 34 inches wide. I crocheted using an I crochet hook. I used all 3 skeins that I bought to crochet the blanket. I then added a row of blue navy Red Heart around the entire blanket in single crochet (SC) stitch.

Finished size is 34 inches wide by 29 inches long.

It is hard to see the wavy ripple in the finished photo. Here is a closeup of the beginning that shows the wavy ripple pattern better.

I was pleased with how my United wavy ripple lapghan turned out and will be shipping it off to the Warmth for Warriors organization soon.
