  1. Beautiful handbags!

  2. I just realized I can use recycled bags in my jewelry and started looking on line to see what others are doing with bags when I found your site. I am very impressed. I wish you much success in your recycled bag endeavors.

  3. White wedding dress made of knitted USED plastic shopping bags.

  4. You should make a handled bag that is 13 x13 and about 6 or 8″ deep and could be used by scrapbookers to store their 12 x 12 scrapbook paper in.. A med length handle on each side would be better.

  5. I do not crochet but saw a water bottle holder made of plastic bags and wondered if you made those. The one I saw was quite simple, just an open tubular holder with a fairly long handle so you could carry it not on your shoulder but across your body.

  6. Love your site! I can’t wait to try using plarn for the first time. I was wondering do you have a pattern for a grocery bag holder? Everyone in my family reuses grocery bags, but each of us just put them in another bag. It would be cute (and save a lot of room too I would think) if we could put them in a holder like the water bottle holder. Thanks!!

  7. Kari,

patterns. Hope you give it a try and create yourself a great bag!

  8. i like your site, your ideas and the enthusiasm behind it all. how inspirational for greenies and aspiring crafters. good job. nice site.

  9. I’ve got to admit defeat at some point soon and come to terms with the fact that I will never be able to keep tabs on every single recycled or ‘eco’ bag that comes into existence. So I am more than glad to defer to the expertise of the aptly-named …

  10. Beautiful work and what a great idea. I wish I knew how to crochet and just might have to learn. The cassette tape projects are amazing. What a great way to keep these out of the landfill and to make something useful and beautiful as well. Keep it up. You’ve got the right idea and I hope it spreads like wildfire.
