These mini 6 inch Christmas stockings use an optional fold-over cuff from my original crochet pattern for the mini cuffed Christmas stocking pattern. Below you will find the crochet directions for this optional fold-over cuff using contrasting yarn.
You work the first 8 rows of the stocking pattern but then only chain 8 instead of 12 stitches for the upper leg portion. Then work the pattern the same until you come to the first decrease row. In rows 9 and 10, you want to work the decreases on either side of the back of the heel for shaping.
Finish off the stocking and leave a long tail for closing up the back heel seam.
Now for your contrasting fold-over cuff,
Here is a new mini Christmas stocking crochet pattern. This 6 inch long stocking pattern features a ribbed cuff and is worked top-down. There is an option for a folded over cuff which was a later idea added to the original pattern. Directions for both styles are listed in the free crochet pattern below.

I make many mini Christmas stockings each year for the Warmth for Warriors group. I decided I wanted to try a new crochet pattern to change things up a bit on my stocking making and came up with this new pattern. I took my cuffed baby booties pattern and tweaked it to create this mini cuffed Christmas stocking. The pattern is easy and can be crocheted in less than an hour plus it is free so enjoy the crochet pattern below.
