Cancer Free 7 Year Mark

Posted on April 15, 2015

Pink RibbonIt has been 7 years since my cancer surgery and follow-up treatments. I just wanted to post an update and give thanks for my 7 year mark of beating the beast!

It has been a long and scary journey but I am doing well. After undergoing surgery, chemo and radiation treatment, I can say that I am NED (no evidence of disease) and am just so happy to be healthy.

For all of you that have followed my journey and cheered me on, I thank you. I just am so blessed and grateful to God for his healing through it all.

Now as I move on, I just pray that I can stay cancer free and enjoy life as I turn this next page in this milestone of my life. Thanks again to all of you out there and may you know just how special each and every one of you have been to me through all of my pink journey.

I am so happy for you. I am an 18 yr, survivor. (I didn’t need chemo just radiation.) My younger daughter had breast surgery and chemo just a couple of years ago.
I pray for all of our daughters, sisters and mothers for complete recovery and a cure for breast cancer.
