Fall Harvest Baby Lovey
Here is my Fall Harvest round ripple baby lovey. I love crocheting these little lovey projects for my local hospital. They give these to children in the ER and nursery.
These lovies are crocheted using a ponytail tie as the center for the hole.
Here is a closeup photo of how the start is done. I crochet 24 single crochet (SC) stitches around ponytail tie.

I use Aggie May’s round ripple pattern as the basis for my baby lovey. I crocheted a V stitch round for round 3 and it helps the lovey to lay flatter. 12 rounds with yellow yarn then 2 rounds of misc. unlabeled light brown yarn. One more round in yellow double crochet (DC) then one final round of SC with 2 SC in ch-2 spaces to finish.
This lovey is 22 inches wide and has a store bought bear added to the centerhole to finish it off.
