Teddy Bears for Charity
Here are a few new teddy bears that I have crocheted for charity. Some of these bears are for this year’s Operation Christmas Child and others will go to my local hospital. The hospital gives the bears away to children in the hospital or ER.
Here is my patriotic bear waving a American flag in honor of our country’s 250 birthday.

Here is one more patriotic teddy bear that I call Mr. Red Bear. He’s sporting a colorful red, white, and blue scarf.

These bears are crocheted using my In the Round Teddy Bear pattern. The In the Round Teddy Bear pattern is free and an easy to crochet project.
Here is a girl teddy bear with a little swimsuit that I crocheted in honor of our summer theme in the Ravelry group Bears for Kids.

This bear is crocheted using a variation of the crocheted Mother Bear pattern. Her body is crocheted in back loops only (BLO) and the head in both loops. Sadly the Mother Bear project has shut down and the original pattern is no longer available. You can see my seamless crocheted bear tutorial and probably adapt a bear of your own from it.
